Blown Away Exhibition, Hong Kong, 2019. April 27-29
Wind speed datasets from super typhoon Mangkhut are animated and projection-mapped on an installation made of a fallen tree.

In total, more than 55 000 trees fell on September 16, 2018, when Mangkhut rocked Hong Kong. A victim tree’s trunk is used as a screen for animations, telling the story of the raging storm, the damage done to the local ecosystem and reminding us about the destructive power of nature.
