About

I am Dóra Mátyás, a Budapest-based artist who transitioned from mechatronics engineering to animation and game development.

My artistic practice explores the convergence of technology and art, employing 3D modeling, procedural techniques, and immersive environments. I am captivated by the potential of inanimate objects to convey emotion and narrative through motion. My work seeks to blur the lines between the mechanical and the organic, drawing inspiration from the human-like characteristics found in machines and the structured, unconscious behaviors inherent in living organisms.

Through my art, I aim to encourage a reevaluation of how we perceive and interact with the increasingly digital world around us.
