The purpose of this project was to create a rule-based system that simulates life.
The aim of the game is to keep the spiders alive: to feed them by clicking on the screen and placing a fly on it.
If a spider eats it, it grows bigger. If you do not feed your spiders, they die of hunger.
They can also reproduce themselves by colliding with each other, but the birthrate is limited by time.
The background or the environment affects the velocity of the spider. When it is dark, it makes it harder
to move and reach the fly, just like moving on a wet surface. The size of the spider also affects the motion,
as it moves slower if it is big.
If you feed you spiders well, they will stay colourful and happy. If you do not, the spiders will die
and they turn grey while they stop moving. When all the spiders are dead, you can press any key to start the game again.
